If you live in constant?fear of dropping your iPhone and damaging the device, you'll be happy to know that the latest generation of Apple's smartphone is "easier than ever" to repair, according to a teardown conducted by a gadget?repair team.
As usual, the teardown?information comes to us via the folks at?iFixit.?
They opened up an iPhone 5 and found that it is pleasantly easy to open up. "The iPhone practically flew apart under our nimble spudgers," explains iFixit's Miroslav Djuric, before pointing out that the device scores a solid seven on a ten-point "repairability" scale.
"Because the iPhone 5 is opened front-to-back, replacing a cracked screen is going to be easier than ever," Djuric writes.?
For a step-by-step guide to tearing apart an iPhone 5, check out iFixit. And then come back here and tell us what you think about the device's bare guts.
