Sunday, 27 January: High Mass at 2:00 P.M., to be celebrated
by the Rev. Jan Pikulski. Music for the liturgy will be provided
by three members of the Chant Schola of the Saint Gregory
Society. The second offering will be for the benefit of the
Saint Gregory Society.
*The Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Sunday, 3 February is Septuagesima Sunday. However, as is
permitted by the rubrics, this Sunday at St. Stanislaus Church
in New Haven, the Feast of the Purification of Our Lady,
or Candlemas, will be observed with a Blessing of Candles,
Procession, and High Mass at 2:00 P.M.? Music for the service
sung by the Chant Schola of the Saint Gregory Society will include
the ?Missa Marialis? Ordinary (Vatican Edition IX/X), the antiphons
?Hodie beata Virgo,? and ?Senex puerum,? and the Gregorian chants
for the Procession and Mass of the Day. The second offering
will be for the benefit of the St. Stanislaus Church
